Hospice volunteers have a very special gift to share. YOUR time!
Patients diagnosed with a terminal illness need comforting and reassuring hand.
Hospice volunteers are urgently needed at Faith. Let us put your talents and genuine concern for others to use for those who truly need it.
We aspire to be the premier hospice in the metropolitan Kansas City area. Our goal is to raise the expectation of hospice services by redefining excellence in compassionate care, providing a peaceful end-of-life experience for our patients and their families.
We offer occasions for members of the community to use their gifts and skills to become trained hospice volunteers. For the right candidate, the benefits of becoming a volunteer are substantial and the impact you can make in someone's life is extraordinary.
Who:
18 years or older
willing to give at least 30 minutes weekly
musicians/singers
pet visitors
chaplains
veterans
Activities:
companionship/friend
watch tv
attend activities in the facility with them
write letters/make phone calls
listen to music
make craft
Volunteers can make a huge difference in the lives of others by simply being present.
We practice Universal Precautions and COVID safety guildelines by asking you to wear a mask at each visit.

Faith Hospice is a service, not a place, for terminally ill patients. We serve patients and their families by addressing the physical. psychological, social and Spiritual aspects of end-of-life care.
