Hillsboro Farmers' Markets depends on great volunteers and interns to help make our markets a success! We have a variety of opportunities available at our markets. We look forward to working with you to balance your skills, talents, and time commitments to the markets to make your experience as meaningful and enjoyable as possible!
Hillsboro Farmers' Markets run from April through October, and volunteer help is needed on AM/PM on Saturdays in Downtown Hillsboro and Sundays in Orenco Station. Come join the fun and help support the markets in one of the following opportunities!
- Event Volunteer
- Information Booth Assistant (Must be 16 years or older and able to commit 2-3 shifts per month for 2-6 consecutive months)
- Market Photographer
- Market Sprouts
- Market Volunteer
- Vendor Parking Attendant (Must be 16 years or older and able to commit 2-3 shifts per month for 2-6 consecutive months)
Before your shifts are scheduled, you will be able to select the market day that is the best fit for you and receive more specific instructions. Please wear comfortable, weather- and family-appropriate clothing, and closed-toe shoes.
Safety is our top priority, here are some of our 2021 COVID-19 regulations (2022 regulations will be announced closer to market opening day)
- Properly worn face coverings by all market attendees
- 6 ft social distancing
- Booth arrangement COVID Compliant
- Volunteer break area
- Hand sanitizer and washing stations throughout the market
- Stay home if you're sick
- Market office closed

Description
Hillsboro Farmers’ Markets (HFM) enriches and unifies our community by creating welcoming environments to access affordable regionally grown produce, arts, crafts, and local products. HFM supports farmers, artisans, and other family-owned business entrepreneurs. We encourage partnerships among vendors and the educational and business communities. In partnership with our vendors, we educate consumers on farm practices, sustainability, and the nutritional and economic value of buying locally.
