Disasters impact everybody. From local house fires to large-scale national events, our volunteers represent all of the communities we serve.
- DISASTER ACTION TEAM members provide immediate comfort, care, and access to basic necessities, including food, clothing and shelter. Sign up for "on call" hours (min. 6/week.) Respond only during your window of availability.
- DUTY OFFICERS/DISPATCHERS support on-scene Red Cross disaster responders. Virtual position can be done from home or work. Requires reliable Internet and phone service.
- RECOVERY CASEWORKERS guide individuals and families affected by disasters through their recovery phase. Virtual position can be done from home or work. Requires reliable Internet and phone service.
