Mission Statement

The Lakota language is endangered. Teaching our children to speak our language helps preserve our ways of thinking and our history. Every Lakota child, regardless of their ability to speak with their voice, deserves to speak Lakota.

Description

We are working towards a Lakota-language AAC vocabulary and voices. We will be providing resources to schools with Lakota language classes and immersion programs. Our current vocab is over 1200 words (as of Feb 2022).
