ORGANIZATION: Idealist.org

Recruiting Organization: Goodwill of the Finger Lakes

The Good Neighbor program provides individuals who are recovering after a crisis with clothes and home goods from Goodwill’s generous donors. To us, being a Good Neighbor is at the heart of what we do at Goodwill. It is why we are focused on empowering people to overcome obstacles to their independence.

Responsibilities of the Good Neighbor shopper include gathering order items to be distributed, organizing and sorting new Good Neighbor items, entering data, and potentially communicating with partner organizations.

We are looking for people who are interested in directly impacting our community with strong organizational skills, computer competency, ability to successfully interact with diverse population, ability to lift 20lbs, and the ability to commit to at least 2 hours a week. If this sounds like you, sign up now!
