Recruiting Organization: Go Laadli

We need the help of a skilled volunteer to assist us with evaluating the effectiveness of our programming.Go Laadli is a social impact organization focused on empowering young women to become problem solvers, leaders, and change-makers. We do that through investing in their education, providing leadership opportunities, and catalyzing changes in social attitudes.

We launched our pilot flagship initiative The Go Laadli - Lead Like a Girl Challenge in 2017, where we asked high school girls in India to come up with solutions to problems they thought girls/women faced in their communities. 2021 was our fourth year of conducting Challenge and the results have been amazing - we have received some truly deep, personal, and thought-provoking submissions that not only validate our belief in the incredible potential our girls have but urge us to continue to expand the opportunities we provide to empower and elevate their leadership.

As we add initiatives and expand further, we want to ensure we remain aligned with our mission and our theory of change. I firmly believe that rigorous evaluation and accurate outcomes measurement will be absolutely needed to keep us on track, to ensure we move in the right direction with respect to achieving our goals for the Challenge, and to ensure continued learning and improvement.

The top contestants from our Challenge are awarded scholarships towards their college education and also become a part of our girl advisory board (GAB), where we engage with them on our decision-making to ensure we are designing appropriate programs for them. Additionally, we provide workshops on themes critical to leadership.Further, our top contestants get to access our one of its kind mentoring program. We also launched our micro-leadership Campaign format in 2020 that was hugely successful.

We are soliciting pro-bono hours from people who deeply care about women's leadership and eradicating gender bias that works against school girls and women globally. Your work will help us understand whether or not we are meeting our goals, how we may improve our offerings and will be key in achieving our mission of girl leadership and transformation. Needless to say, we are certain you will be very proud of your work and this experience will enrich your portfolio very strongly.

We have past impact reports and student feedback surveys from our Challenge, GAB workshops, mentoring program, and our Campaign that we can share with you. We plan to use the evaluation to guide us as we expand our programming and to measure our impact!
