Forai is seeking volunteers to help set up, tear down, and/or sell the work of Forai artisans at local pop ups! Forai participates in weekend sales events/festivals about twice a month. Volunteer shifts are approximately 2-4 hours.

FORAI, Inc is a Christ-centered organization partnering with local refugee and immigrant women to enable the realization of economic, educational, and social goals through the provision of micro business coaching, training, and peer support, and by expanding market opportunities for artisans.
Description
Forai Crafts supports refugee and immigrant women in the St. Louis area as they begin home-based microbusinesses to supplement their incomes through the production of high quality, marketable handicrafts. Crafts include jewlery making, weaving, knitting/crochet, and sewing. We encourage the use of traditional, cultural designs and techniques while modifying products to appeal to the American consumer.
