Hospice patient in need of increased socialization and companionship. This is an ideal opportunity for any student who is living on campus at Our Lady of The Lake University in San Antonio, TX as the visits would be within walking distance. This position will require an application, background check, orientation and TB test prior to seeing your patient.

The diagnosis of a life limiting illness causes immeasurable emotional distress for patients and their loved ones. The pain and symptoms associated with these conditions can become unbearable and decisions about care and treatment are often overwhelming and difficult to make. Guiding Light Hospice provides hospice care and other related services to assist families dealing with these tough times in the Greater San Antonio area.
