Red Cross BLOOD TRANSPORT VOLUNTEERS deliver blood from our Philadelphia distribution center (7th & Spring Garden Streets) to area hospitals, including to Roxborough Hospital. Join our team in this most vital role. You too can be delivering the gift of life...literally!

  • Use Red Cross vehicle or your own, reimbursement available
  • Once trained, sign up for routes on your schedule and availability, including to Roxborough Hospital and other community hospitals; most volunteers drive 1-2 routes/month
  • Work alone or with a preferred Navigator of your choosing
  • Requires 3+ years clean driving record and ability to lift up to 45 pounds
