Spectrum Community Arts provides performing arts workshops for people with disabilities; developing self-esteem and self-expression.

Raising funds from the public can be very rewarding and enjoyable. Fundraising volunteers play a vital role in helping to ensure Spectrum Community Arts can continue achieving their aims and objectives; income generation is fundamental to our continued success. As a volunteer fundraiser, we will support you to organise your own events, support others and encourage other volunteers to fundraise for the organisation. The role is flexible to suit your commitments and interests.


  • Organise and lead the planning and management of fundraising events
  • Attend and support events organised by Spectrum Community Arts
  • Develop new fundraising and event ideas
  • Work with the fundraising team to prospect major donors
  • Identify potential business and community partners
  • Encourage others to fundraise or volunteer for us
  • Assist with general fundraising activities as needed
  • To source organisations and contacts to provide auction, tombola and raffle prizes
  • Organised, methodical and reliable
  • A professional, friendly and outgoing manner

  • Ability to handle money

To provide performing arts workshops for people with disabilities and additional needs. Spectrum Aims: - to provide performing arts workshops for people with disabilities and additional needs - to use the performing arts to help develop self-esteem, self expression and build friendships - to give the participants a place they feel safe and a club to which they belong - to give the parents/carers an opportunity for a short period of respite


Spectrum Community Arts is a registered 'Not for Profit’ organisation with charitable purposes. It was first set up in January 2017, launching in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom. Spectrum now services three key area with in-person workshops in Leighton Buzzard and Houghton Regis in Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. In addition to our in-person workshops we offer Virtual workshops making our services even more accessible to those up and down the country.

Spectrum Community Arts was set up with its principle aim to enable participants to develop their self-esteem and self-expression in a safe, encouraging environment, through the provision of performing arts workshops.
