About SHEPHERDS CENTER OF WEBSTER KIRKWOOD INC

Location:

1320 W LOCKWOOD AVE, GLENDALE, MO 63122, US

Mission Statement

Shepherd’s Center inspires dynamic living among mature adults through volunteerism, enrichment and community connection.

Description

Shepherd’s Center of Webster/Kirkwood is part of a nationwide organization that is a volunteer-based and provides programs, services
and engagement opportunities for adults who are 55 years or older. We measure
our impact on their lives in terms of active engagement, longer independence and
personal fulfillment.
Shepherd’s Center believes that our later years can be our best years. We envision a
community in which our older adults are central, are fully engaged socially,
intellectually, and physically, and are building connections across generations so
that they may model full lives for the generations that follow. They have resources
and opportunities to stay independent longer and age in place well as they inspire
each other and those around them with their story and tenacity.
