Job Title:

Receptionist/Greeter (Door #31)

Job Responsibility:

To assist patrons in the reception area, give directions, take messages and/or general administrative assistant duties as outlined below:
● Give specific location directions within the Brown Community Learning Center as patrons enter the building
● Receive U.S. Mail, Inter-office mail and occasionally send out mail
● Maintain inter-office binders as needed
● Occassionally make phone calls to obtain information or to clarify messages

Hours of Service: up to 20 hours a week, between 10:00am and 2:00pm Job Title:

Special Events Associate

Job Responsibility:

To work alongside the District Family and Community School Specialist and a team of volunteers to assist, organize, set-up and clean-up for special events at Brown Community Learning Center throughout the academic school year as outlined below:

● Meet and greet patrons/give directions
● Set-up tables, chairs and cover with tableclothes as needed
● Pass out programs and monitor sign-in sheets
● AV equipment management/photography
● Move lightweight furniture (occasionally)
● Clean-up after events

Job Title:

Childcare Assistant

Job Description:

To provide childcare in the Children’s Room of Brown Community Learning Center. Volunteers are asked to play board games, read books, assist with occasional homework, Arts & Crafts and/or other duties assigned in the children’s room for ages 3-12 years as directed by the District FACSS.

Hours of Service: Negotiable (2 hours weekday evenings and/or Saturdays)

Job Description:

To provide academic support to students in grades 3-8 during study tables at Brown Community Learning Center between 3:00 and 5:30pm.

Hours of Service: M-R (Negotiable; up to 10 hours/week)
