PhysioCare Hospice takes pride in the unique end of life experience we strive to give our patients. Our organization strives to focus on the whole person and not just the illness.

PhysioCare Hospice is looking for volunteers to help with one of our newest programs we have started to work on with each of our patients. When patients are near the end of their lie they often have a list or something they want to see or do. At PhysioCare Hospice we make it a mission to help each patient see or do something on their list! This volunteer opportunity would include meeting with patients and working with the staff at PhysioCare Hospice to help make a patients "Final Wish" come true! All the appropriate training and guidance would be provided with this opportunity to ensure not just the patient gets the joy from this but the volunteer does as well!

PhysioCare Hospice works with whatever time you are able to volunteer and give our patients and is flexible with YOUR schedule!

Mission Statement

Honoring Life with Heartfelt Compassion Physiocare Hospice strives to be known by healthcare professionals and the community as the premier provider of holistic, compassionate and skilled hospice care. We specifically focus on the person not just the illness. Our holistic approach encompasses medical, emotional and spiritual care throughout the stages of life-limiting illness. Our desire is to ensure our patients live out their remaining days in comfort and peace, wherever they call home - their own residence, a family members home, an assisted living facility, a skilled nursing facility or hospital - all the while retaining their dignity.

Description

We are able to offer caregivers some relief from the burdens they experience. Knowing our skilled staff will focus on their loved one's symptoms and pain control to give them the best quality of life each day allows the family to experience peace of mind. A registered nurse is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist with any needs after regular office hours, on weekends, and holidays.
