Project C.U.R.E.'s Chicago Area Distribution Center in Woodridge, Illinois is offering internships to select high school students who are passionate about helping others in need.
Project C.U.R.E. is a non-profit organization that distributes medical relief, supplies and equipment to under-resourced communities in over 130 countries across the world. With the help of volunteers, Project C.U.R.E. organizes and labels donated medical supplies to prepare them for shipment. This internship would be working directly with Project C.U.R.E.'s local leadership to develop tangible skills while having a huge impact on communities in need. Some of the areas of focus are:
Administrative Skills
Warehouse and Inventory Management
Medical Supply Management
Flexible schedule, currently accepting applications for the summer semester.
Internships generally require minimum of one to two days/week and/or 6 hours per week. Ability to bend and lift boxes up to 25lbs required.

Project C.U.R.E. (Commission on Urgent Relief and Equipment) is the registered trademark of the Benevolent Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Since 1987, Project C.U.R.E. has provided millions of dollars of donated medical supplies and equipment to sick and dying people living in more than 138 developing countries. Project C.U.R.E. serves as a liaison between we who have so much and those who have too little. With its International Headquarters located in Centennial, Colorado, Project C.U.R.E. has major operations in Denver, Chicago, Houston, Kansas City, Nashville, Mid-Atlantic (Philadelphia) and Phoenix. Project C.U.R.E. ships millions of dollars in lifesaving medical supplies, sending an average of two to three semi-truck sized cargo containers each week to nearly every continent on the globe.

- Internships generally require a minimum of one to two days per week and/or 6 hours per week. Tuesday afternoons 4pm-7pm and select Saturdays 9am-12pm. Schedule is flexible.
