Jewish Family Services of Cleveland has openings for college students who are seeking internships as part of their "for credit" college program. As an intern, you will work under the supervision of an LISW-S in the Domestic Violence Department. Interns will have an active role in assisting the Prevention Coordinator of the KNOW Abuse program. Laptop and cell for will be provided for work related purposes for the duration of the internship. Most of the internship can be performed remotely, however KNOW Abuse events are most often in-person.

Expectations:

  • Start Spring 2022
  • Complete 12 hours of training in the KNOW Abuse program within the first two weeks of internship.
  • Required to commit a minimum of ten hours a week working, during regular business hours, with the occasional evening event.
  • Able to attend in-person and virtual
  • Needs reliable transportation with insurance
  • Must be fully vaccinated and boosted (proof will be required)
  • Must complete a standard criminal background check
