About the Role
YesLiberia is looking for a team of socially-aware and impact-oriented young professionals and students to help drive its ambitious fundraising goals.
Fundraising Support Volunteers will be tasked with designing and implementing strategies to raise funds for YesLiberia's Hop on the Bus project, which will ensure that the students we support have safe, reliable, and timely transportation between home and school.
You will be working directly with our team, including staff coordinator, Board, and Executive Director to understand the assignment, brainstorm ideas, and achieve fundraising targets.
The main requirement for this role is a passion for YesLiberia's mission and an interest in our School Bus project.
About YesLiberia
YesLiberia is an established non-profit organization that aims to transform Liberia by inspiring youth to be educated, fully engaged, and responsible in their communities and society. Its mission is to empower young people through meaningful service learning opportuntites in education, healthcare, and technology.
Our primary activity is funding the tuition for students in Liberia to attend secondary school and college, and ensuring family-level support for their education. YesLiberia seccessfully runs additional charity programs focusing on youth upliftment in Liberia, often linked with GivingTuesday, including providing free transit for essential workers, organizing making masks, supporting homeless communities, and running leadership programs for students.
