Come join us and have some fun at the Fiesta Botanica and Butterfly Release in Balboa Park

The San Diego Floral Association, with an office in Balboa Park, established in 1907 by Kate Sessions, is looking for eager, energetic, horticulture enthusiasts to join our team as an entry-level Director position on our Board. This wonderful volunteer position will give you a change to learn about San Diego ls horticulture as well as San Diego History and the workings of Balboa Park. You will need to be able to attend our Board meetings which are held once a month on a Monday morning and you will need to be able to assist with our many outreach opportunities. REQUIREMENTS

  • Driver's License Needed
  • Our Board meetings are held the 3rd Monday of the month in office in Balboa Park. We ask our board members to become active on our planning committees -- school garden programs, classes, lectures, garden tours, festivals, festival of trees, etc.
  • We are looking for someone who as enough time to devote to a non-profit organization. If you work full time, you will need to be able to attend our board meetings and assist with our programs. Most of our functions are held on the weekends.
