All Soup Angels volunteers wear masks.
We usually receive deliveries of donated foods and other items on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings. There are two deliveries on Monday and Tuesday mornings. The usual times are 8:30-9:30 and 11-12:30. Most Thursdays the delivery arrives around 9:15. Once-a-month the Thursday delivery comes in around 11:00.
Some heavy lifting is involved but is seldom over 20 lbs.
If you can be available for any of these, your help would be greatly appreciated. You do not need to commit to every delivery. We will work with your schedule.

Soup Angels provides free, nutritious, homemade meals to anyone who is hungry, no questions asked. Among our guests are elderly persons seeking a meal and companionship, the working poor and their families, and those who are homeless. An all-volunteer, non-denominational group of service-minded individuals, Soup Angels operates under the auspices of First Reformed Church and depends on the support of our community.
Soup Angels is in its 14th year of offering healthy, home cooked (at the church) meals to anyone who need s meal. No questions asked.
During this Covid pandemic, we continue to served Monday and Wednesday evenings from 4.30 to 6.30 pm. Our bounty table , full of groceries, has been very successful.
As the strains of our current economy take their toll on working families, the elderly, teens, veterans, the disabled and recent immigrants in our Nyack community, Soup Angels will continue to feed our community.
