JOB SUMMARY

Manage our Google Adwords account. Evaluate our current use, make a plan to maximize our click rate. Develop keywords that will highlight our top programs and drive people to our website. Identify and Incorporate other advertising opportunities. (Facebook ads, etc)


RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Technology Director, the volunteer/intern will:

  • Evaluate all the ways we can use our Google Adwords account and the tools that go with it, study how others are using the Adword programs, and write up options/ present them to Technology Director
  • Work with Program directors to Create and Edit Ads and Ad Campaigns
  • Maximize our use of Adwords so we are fully using our grant
  • Perform Keyword research
  • Setup and use analytical tools to monitor Advertising performance
  • Manage Google Adwords campaigns
  • Research and implement new advertising areas of opportunity
  • Monitor emerging trends in the WEB/PPC industry and adjust tactics to new opportunities

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expertise with Google Analytics and keyword research tools
  • Experience with Google Adwords or other paid advertising
  • Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently
  • Strong writing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate with diverse populations
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A Family for Every Child is dedicated to finding loving, permanent families for every waiting foster child." Our intention is to develop programs that assist special-needs/challenging-to-place foster children in finding their own Forever Families.

Description

A Family For Every Child, a nonprofit organization, was started by Christy Obie-Barrett and dozens of dedicated and passionate volunteers. In 2006, AFFEC was formed and developed into an organization focused on finding permanent and loving adoptive homes for Oregon's waiting children. We started with our first project called The Heart Gallery in November, 2006, and now we have blossomed into ten incredibly successful programs. None of this could have occurred without the wonderful support from thousands of volunteers, sponsors, in-kind donors, photographers, and many more!
