You will be responsible for direct work in the Intiwawa community in the field or administrative work. You will be working directly with the children and parents in the communities and assist with projects in the field of education, psychology or social work:

• Education: Homework help, English, Math and Communication classes.
• Health: Dental project, promotion of healthy nutrition and personal hygiene.
• Strengthening of socio-cultural values: Culture and art workshops.
• Parent Empowerment: Parenting School, weaving project with mothers.

Depending on your background, you can do your internship in marketing, fundraising, communication and human resources supporting the coordinator of that area!

Requirements

• Conversational Spanish level
• Minimum 18 years old
• First experience working in an NGO is a plus.
• Intercultural awareness and communication skills
• Independence, creativity and responsibility
• Minimum 3 months commitment

Details

• The position is part time (around 25-30 hours in a week).
• Availability Monday-Friday from 1pm-6pm
• Flexible schedule and low-cost accommodation available
• International contacts in the Intiwawa community
• A letter of reference and certificate will be provided at the end of the term

Vas a ser responsable por el trabajo directo en la comunidad de Intiwawa en el campo o en el trabajo administrativo. Puedes trabajar con los ninos y padres de la comunidad y asistir en los proyectos en el campo en las áreas de educación, psicología o trabajo social:

• Educación: Ayuda en tareas, clases de Inglés, Matemáticas y Comunicación
• Salud: Proyecto dental, promoción de nutrición saludable y higiene personal
• Fortalecimiento de valores socioculturales: Talleres de cultura y arte
• Autorización de padres: Escuela de Padres, proyecto de tejidos con las madres

Si tienes un estudio administrativo puedes hacer tus prácticas en marketing, recaudación, comunicación y recursos humanos apoyando al coordinador de esa área!

Requisitos previos

● Nivel de Español conversacional

● Mínimo de edad son 18 años

● Primera experiencia en el trabajo en comunidad o con ONGs es un plus

● Conciencia intercultural y habilidades comunicativas

● Independencia, creatividad y responsabilidad

● Al menos 3 meses de compromiso

Particulares

● El trabajo está de tiempo parcial (más o menos 25-30 horas en la semana)

● Disponibilidad Lunes-Viernes de 1pm-6pm

● Calendario flexible y Alojamiento con poco costo disponible
