Did you know that SOAR365 offers full-day programs for children and youth during the summer months? That means that lots of volunteers will be needed to help facilitate activities and ensure that participants have the best summer ever! For more information on our Children & Youth Program, please visit: www.soar365.org/children-youth-program
WHEN: Summer session begins mid-June. Programs will run Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
WHERE: Children & Youth Programs are offered at two locations (one in Richmond and one in Chesterfield).
WHAT: Volunteers will provide support for field trips, swimming, YMCA activities, outdoor recreational games & activities, literacy activities, movies, and more!
WHO: Opportunities are available for both adults and youth volunteers who are willing to make a once-per-week commitment for at least six weeks.
- Adult volunteers (ages 18+) are welcome.
- Youth volunteers ages 16 and up may volunteer independently as long as they complete all onboarding requirements.
- Youth volunteers (ages 12-15) must be accompanied by an adult supervisor (adult supervisor must complete all onboarding requirements).

In partnership with families, SOAR365 creates life-fulfilling opportunities for individuals with disabilities, annually serving over 1,400 people and their families. Founded in 1954, SOAR365 is an organization created by families, for families; an organization that has grown to provide a continuum of programs and services for individuals with disabilities across the lifespan.
With multiple locations throughout central Virginia, SOAR365 programs span the lifecycle and assist people with disabilities to live happy, successful and meaningful lives. Programs and services include: Pediatric Therapy Services; Adult & Youth Day Services; Workforce Development Services; and Residential (Summer Camp and Respite) Services.
