We are looking for an instructional designer, who is passionate about developing educational training programs which can help change the trajectory of someone’s life.

Volunteer Description: We are looking for volunteers who can help us develop courses for our Legacy Builder Program. This program aims to teach and support individuals as they learn soft skills and project management skills. The individuals who go through this program will then implement what they have learned into their local community.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the mission and vision and values of Refined and Refreshed Inc.
  • Assist with planning and coordination for the work readiness program.
  • Support program growth and development as necessary.
  • Create workshop training material using PowerPoint or Google Slides
  • Coordinate relationships between staff, clients, administrators, and all other program stakeholders.
  • Attend program related meetings.
  • Create and maintain program records, presentations, and proposals.
  • Manage marketing and communications relating to the program.

Duration:

  • Time commitment of 4-6 months
  • At least 10-15 hrs. per month.

Requirements:

  • Able to commit to the duration of the time commitment.
  • Displays the ability to communicate with others effectively, listen closely and convey points clearly.
  • Shows proficiency with computer programs which may include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and others.

Our organization is just starting, but our goals are:
Raising Awareness
We create content using various form so media to bring awareness to this issue of intergenerational transmission of poverty.

Resources
We research and provide resources that will help those in poverty break that cycle and help those not affected by poverty how they can serve.

Education
We will host training and webinars geared for those living in poverty to highlight avenues and networks that will be beneficial in building healthy flourishing legacies. Partnerships
We will partner with local communities, church and organizations to see how we can mutually work together in building healthy flourishing legacies for individuals, families and communities Investing
We will look to provide sponsorships and scholarship for individuals and families who seek to build a healthy and flourishing legacy for generations to come.
