Adas-Behrend Senior Fellowship is a program that provides seniors from the DC metro area a kosher lunch, social activities, and Friday Shabbat celebrations. Volunteers provide on-site assistance with set-up, sign-in registration, hand out lunch menus, and help participants place meal reservations. Location is within walking distance to Cleveland Park Metro, red line. Shifts available between 10:30AM-1:00PM, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. All volunteers must be vetted prior to starting (interview, background check, trainings, covid vaccinated, etc).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Engagement with Seniors
- 18+ years of age
- COVID Vaccination and Booster
- 6+ Month Commitment
- 2+ Shifts per month
- Video Interview
- Background Check
- 3 Character References
- HIPAA Online Training Course
- Compliance Training

For more than 120 years, the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA) has been helping individuals and families across the Washington metro area meet emotional, social, and physical challenges. JSSA provides services and support to more than 30,000 individuals and families annually through a wide range of counseling, education, specialized employment services, in-home care, hospice, senior care-management, and social services.
