Unite Oregon's Multnomah County Chapter needs support during virtual meetings and trainings, assisting with the following:

  • Tech/Zoom support. This includes troubleshooting issues that may arise during the meeting w/participants w/out interrupting the meeting (unless necessary)
  • Note taking
  • Interpretation
  • Share flyers, emails and social media posts to people in their communities
  • Share details about Unite’s work and how community members can also get involved
  • Document translations

Description

A mobilized base with political power and the capacity to advance racial justice in the following areas: housing justice, reimaging community safety, economic justice, health equity, access to education, and climate justice. Our strategies for change include community organizing, leadership development, service to organizing, policy advocacy, and community development.
