American Red Cross Transportation Specialists are the critical link between blood donor and recipient! Your role as a Transportation Specialist is to transport blood and blood products. There are two ways to do this:
1. Long runs: Meet the blood at its collection site and bring it back to the Red Cross processing warehouse. These runs being and end at the Arlington warehouse and can take you to locations such as Waco or Bryan to pick up the blood collection from the Red Cross blood mobile.
2. Daily runs: Transport blood after it is processed from the Red Cross headquarters in Dallas to area hospitals for use.
Time commitment: Preferred two shifts per month as it fits your schedule!
Requirements: Valid drivers license with a good driving record. An American Red Cross vehicle is provided for the duration of your shift.
