The Carroll County Community Mediation Center (CCCMC) is a non-profit community organization that offers free mediation services to help resolve conflicts. Our mediators are volunteers who are professionally trained through classroom training, an apprenticeship, a series of evaluations, and continuing education. Volunteer mediators will receive 50 hours of mediation training at no cost. After training volunteers will undergo an apprenticeship and then mediate conflict throughout the Carroll County community. Our volunteers mediate a wide variety of conflicts including, divorce, parenting plans, landlord/tenant disputes, neighbor disputes, family conflict, and much more. Volunteers will gain an opportunity to learn a new skill for free and network with the local non-profit community. Volunteer with CCCMC and help increase peaceful conflict resolution in Carroll County.

Mission Statement
The Carroll County Community Mediation Center operates under the auspices of Carroll Community College to promote peaceful resolution of conflict and collaborative problem solving by providing a range of conflict resolution services, education and professional training to the Carroll County Community.
Description
The Carroll County Community Mediation Center (CCCMC) provides a continuum of conflict management services including public education, conflict management training and workshops, conflict coaching, mediation, and large group facilitation services. The CCCMC provides most services, such as coaching, mediation, and large group facilitation at no cost to the community at times and locations convenient to the participants involved. The Center is a volunteer based organization. Our volunteers complete extensive training in mediation and coaching skills, an apprenticeship, and participate in on-going continuing education and evaluation. They come from a variety of backgrounds and represent the racial, economic, age, and educational diversity of Carroll County. The CCCMC is committed to taking away barriers and increasing access to non-violent conflict resolution services. We rely on volunteers, grants, partnerships, private donations, and grants to support our ability to provide these conflict management services at no cost to anyone in Carroll County.
