ORGANIZATION: NorthWest Student Exchange

NorthWest Student Exchange

We are looking for someone who loves working with youth, believes in the value of international understanding and friendship enjoys reaching out to others, and is often well connected in their communities.

Area Coordinators are a crucial part of the NWSE exchange. They help ensure a safe and rewarding exchange experience for all program participants by recruiting and helping screen caring volunteer host families. Area coordinators (also called local coordinators or academic coordinators) provide local supervision to our students, maintain regular contact with them and their host families, and offer support when needed. They serve as the local point of contact, conduct orientations for our students and host families, and organize activities.
