9Health Fair is a vital resource for so many Coloradans seeking to better understand and own their health. As the largest volunteer-driven, non-profit health and education program in the nation, we empower communities to provide life-saving, early detection, and prevention screenings, which help all families, no matter their insurance status, stay healthy.

That’s where you come in!

A health fair site has joined our team for the Fall 2022 Season, and they are ready to serve the community in their quest for better health! A dedicated Medical Coordinator is needed to join their team of Leadership Volunteers, who are responsible for the planning and execution of this community fair. The Medical Coordinator position is a key element in a fair because this person ensures every help and screening station is staffed, trained, and prepared to assist every fair participant. This is a great opportunity to volunteer your time, gain some great leadership experience and have fun while you do it!

Qualities of the ideal candidate:

• Medical background *required*
• Experience coordinating medical staff or leading volunteers
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Great problem solver
• Thrives working on a team
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (Not required)

Time Commitment & Logistics:

• 1-5 hours per week during planning >>> Hours will increase in the weeks before the respective fair
• Ability to work remotely during planning phases
• Must be available for training, team meetings, and the day of the fair in October.
