Save to Favorites

This is a remote, volunteer position. You will be an executive assistant to Dr. Joyce H. Brown, "The Hope Doctor." Dr. Joyce is a world-renowned expert in suicide prevention, and her non-profit, Stress & Grief Relief, Inc. (a 501c3), focuses on fighting traumatic stress and depression, preventing suicide, and giving hope to survivors and all those who think life is not worth living.

Dr. Joyce is in the process of writing her fifth book. She is also developing and launching a new podcast which will include interviews well-known authors, speakers, and other experts around issues of health, nutrition, faith, mindset, and motivation. If you are interested in learning about stress and suicide prevention, and/or celebrity author and speaker marketing and promotion, this work will give you a chance to learn how all the behind-the-scenes work and tasks come together to make it happen.

This is a rare opportunity to get first-hand experience working directly with the President and CEO of a non-profit organization. Due to visual impairment, Dr. Joyce needs assistance with daily writing and communication tasks (including writing and sending emails, contacting people through social media, and over the phone). Given her sharp mind and fast pace, but also her heavenly patience and heart for helping others, this is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is looking to learn more about running and promoting their own future company. This opportunity will be particularly appealing for anyone interested in the helping professions. Given the nature of the business and today's business environment, much of the work centers around content development and content marketing and promotion, including setting up radio and television interviews, copywriting, writing ads, and communicating with other business professionals. You will not be expected to know how to do these things, only to have a growth mindset and a passion for learning.
