Do you excel at creating a welcoming and friendly environment? Do you have experience tutoring or teaching English as a second language? Help us facilitate a conversation club for English language learners!
English Conversation Club is a weekly program designed to create a space for people to practice conversational English with a facilitator, library staff, and each other.
Your role: As the facilitator you would help the conversation flow (with optional conversation questions provided!) and be ready to answer any language-related questions that come up. While this isn’t meant to be a formal teaching program, having a facilitator who has knowledge and experience with English language instruction helps add value to the program and ensures the most benefit for those participating.
This opportunity would be perfect for someone looking to be involved directly with their community and to utilize their abilities to help build language skills and foster connection.
