Do you enjoy talking with people and learning about their unique story? Do you enjoy playing cards and board games or listening to music? Perhaps you're a military veteran and would like interacting with other veterans. If you answered yes to any of these questions, you might be a great fit as a patient companion volunteer at Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice. As a patient companion, you sit with an assigned hospice patient providing emotional support, active listening and companionship. Often times, patient and volunteer develop a rewarding friendship.

We have volunteer opportunities throughout Brevard County. The hospice volunteer is strictly a compassionate companion. No hands on care is provided. We provide all orientation and training, in addition to education and instruction on COVID best practices. Come join us and be part of a community and a team dedicated to helping those facing life's most difficult circumstances. We look forward to you becoming part of the Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice volunteer team!
