Seeking volunteers to assist with our adoptable cats/kittens at the Yukon Petsmart location. Volunteers will assist with cleaning kennels, cleaning litter boxes, providing food/water, and helping to socialize and provide playtime for our adoptable cats/kittens. Volunteers are needed for both AM and PM weekly shifts, or if you are interested but can only assist every once in a while we do need fill in volunteers as well.

2 Shifts

  • 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM CST - FULL
    Morning shift times and days may vary based on availability; need weekly volunteers and fill in
  • 04:00 PM to 06:00 PM CST - FULL
    afternoon/evening shift times and days may vary based on availability; need weekly volunteers and fill in

Save Haven Animal Rescue is a volunteer-driven, no kill, animal rescue servicing the Oklahoma City area and surrounding areas. We aim to help re-home, foster dogs and cats while providing services for pet adoption, animal awareness throughout our communities.

Description

Safe Haven Animal Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3), charitable rescue organization dedicated to finding homes for homeless and abandoned cats & dogs. We rescue the majority of our animals from shelters where they are destined to die. Others come from puppy mills or from pet owners who are unable or unwilling to care for their pets any longer. At this time, Safe Haven Animal Rescue, Inc. is limited to finding homes for animals who are being cared for in foster homes. Our cats when available for adoption will be at the Yukon, Midwest City or Norman Petsmart Catteries. Our dogs will be adopted out of foster care.
