Round Rock Arts is an Arts non-profit located in Round Rock, TX. We support the creative community with events, exhibits, and resources. It is our goal to rebuild our volunteer team to expand our activities and outreach. We are looking for someone who lives in Round Rock, TX or the immediate surrounding areas.
We are looking for a volunteer who can work in a key position for our organization. Hours would range from 5-15 hours and would be either remote or in-person, all depending on the needs of the activities. We work in partnership with several agencies and organizations in the area and are looking for someone who can help us organize our needs with both outreach and staffing.
The following is the job details for the Volunteers Coordinator:
Volunteers Coordinator: Manages volunteers and schedules them for specific activities; works with key positions in organization to learn what type of volunteer positions need to be filled; creates online outreach ads for needs; tracks potential volunteer responses; replies to and meets with potential volunteers; conducts orientations and connects volunteers with key people within organization; coordinates volunteer appreciation events and thank you cards.
Ability to learn and work with online volunteer membership accounts (ads and outreach), set-up event sign-ups to fill positions, communicate with key positions (Board & chairs, city employees, Admin) to give and gather information for volunteer position needs.

Made up of a grassroots group of dedicated and diverse individuals, the non-profit, 501 c 3 designated, Round Rock Area Arts Council (dba Round Rock Arts) was formed in January 2009.
Round Rock Arts holds open art calls to the public as well as hosts curated group exhibits showcasing art in 3 public spaces in the area; the Downtowner Gallery, Texas State University Round Rock Campus, and Williamson County Jester Annex. It also assists in annual events such as Chalk Walk Arts Festival, Imagine, and Mainly Art, as well as educational and community-oriented programming.
