As an Application Development Intern at We Rise 4 Wellness, Inc, you will help develop and maintain our current business applications and web services or work with QA providing input on the testability of requirements and acceptance criteria and designing automated test frameworks.

This position will enrich your web development or testing skills and allow you to work with the latest technologies.

What you’ll be doing:

* Develop new solutions with C#, ASP.NET, ASP MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (with AngularJS or React frameworks), and Microsoft SQL Server

* Build RESTful web services to support our ever-growing service layer and to support new and refactored websites

* Support and maintain existing web applications, troubleshooting issues as they arise and recommending improvements

* Test and document new applications and changes

* Responsible for implementation and maintenance of automated test frameworks and scenarios

* Work with other QA Engineers and Developers to ensure that all aspects of the applications have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance, and quality

* Communicate with team members, project owners, and other IT teams regarding project progress and issue resolutions

What you need:

* Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

* Core proficiency in one or more of the following: SQL, Java, JavaScript, C#, C++, HTML, CSS

* Ability to research, recommend and apply new solutions as they emerge

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

* Can effectively handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment

* Self-starter with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and superior problem-solving skills

* Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
