Literacy Volunteers Valley Shore (LVVS) provides one-to-one tutoring in English literacy skills, in complete confidence and at no cost, to people in the communities of Chester, Clinton, Deep River, Essex, Guilford, Killingworth, Lyme, Madison, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, and Westbrook. The work of LVVS helps those people achieve more rewarding daily lives, at work and in the community. It also helps regional employers get more satisfied, productive employees.
