HSSF is authorized by CA Corporation Code 14502 to enforce animal abuse and neglect laws. Our Board of Directors come from diverse backgrounds. The Board is tasked with moving HSSF strategically and successfully forward. The Board meets monthly in-person in Auburn for approximately 2 hours. At times, the Board needs to discuss issues of an emergency nature and at that time, a meeting could be called either in person or via ZOOM.
