Join Angel Flight West as a volunteer private pilot and use your love of flying to help those in need. Our pilots come from all walks of life, and fly a variety of single and twin engine, as well as jet aircraft. Some own their own airplane; others are renters. What they all have in common is a desire to use their aviation skills to help others in this special way. We need pilots from the 13 Western United States: AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA, WY. Mission Statement
Angel Flight West delivers health and hope using donated flights to serve those with healthcare and other compelling human needs. Angel Flight West links volunteer pilots and commercial airlines with people whose non-emergency health needs require air transportation to access care.
Description
Angel Flight West links both volunteer private pilots and commercial airline partners with people in need whose non-emergency health care problems require that they travel to and from medical facilities throughout the 13 western states, including Alaska and Hawaii. The costs of all flights are donated. There is never a charge for an Angel Flight West mission.
