The Editor creates content and collaborates with a top designer firm, Project MORE volunteers and Board members. To create text and verbage for the Qmunity. Create, plan, coordinate, review and edit content. Be responsible for planning and creating written materials. Identify ways to improve the flow of materials, and advise writers on content pieces. They also have to create content and informative and engaging content for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Create content online and manage content areas
  • Suggest content and generate ideas in alignment with Project MORE’s mission.
  • Familiar with Google Slides, InDesign, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proofread, edit and improve stories or pieces
  • Recruit and manage writers and reporters
  • Cooperate and liaise with designers, photographers, advertising reps, writers, artists etc
  • Meet deadlines and requirements
