ORGANIZATION: Sanctuary Hospice

  • 1 person is interested

Sanctuary Hospice is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Volunteers-like you! Our Volunteers provide companionship and socialization to patients along with respite for their loved ones when they need it most! This gives them a much needed break. With Social Isolation at an all time high, it's the commitment of our volunteers that our patients rely on to brighten their day. Visit one-on-one (if permissible), send cards of encouragement, visit virtually or make check in phone calls with patients and families to provide support. We have patients across the Northeast Ohio area...from Lorain, Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, Trumbull Mahoning & Ashtabula and as far south as Columbiana County.

Volunteers are crucial to the hospice experience and a vital part of our team of caregivers. Patients and families value the personal touch volunteers bring to an emotional process at the end of life’s journey.

Contact our Volunteer Coordinator to see how we can put your talent and skills to use: Laura Brindza, CVA @ 216.520.4080 OR Laurabrindza@sanctuaryhospiceOH.com for additional details and to discuss next steps to starting your hospice volunteer journey.
