About Dream Rider Equestrian Therapy

Location:

543 ANDERSON RD, ALPINE, CA 91901, US

Mission Statement

Dream Rider Equestrian Therapy a NARHA/PATH international member center offers a one of a kind combined Hippotherapy & Therapeutic Riding Program. We serve both special needs children especially those with neurological or attention deficit issues. To become a volunteer please complete the application from the website: http://www.dreamriderequestriantherapy.com and email to Catherineh@prodigy.net

Description

We conduct individual riding lessons on ponies and need trained volunteers for leading and side walking to protect the physically or emotionally impaired clients. Volunteers must be available for six lessons in six weeks. Please contact us if your schedule allows for your consistent participation since scheduling depends on volunteer presence. All volunteer training is provided in advance of engaging in lessons for impaired clients. Please go to the website: http://www.dreamriderwwquestriantherapy.com and download the volunteer packet, which contains required information for us to insure you when you participate.

We also need competent horse trainers and riders to condition our therapy ponies.

If your talent is in community outreach, grant writing or fund raising and you cannot regularly assist in lessons, help is needed in outreach as well to sustain and promote the program.
