As a Marketing and Content Specialist you would provide content, videos, and images that will be engaging to our core audience. The content should often address the plight of youth of color and their encounters with the incarceration and detention system. We're looking for support with our digital channel to spread our message and invite more families that are impacted to share their stories, or how they make an impact to push initiatives forward in their community. As our developer you will ensure clear and cohesive messaging across all platforms to strengthen the delivery of our message. You will influence overall campaign designs in partnership with our social media team and founder to ensure timing of posts and creative to maximize our missions voice on all channels.
Ideal pre-requisites: technically savvy, aware of the criminal justice system especially as it relates to youth of color 14-24 years of age, able to create content/text that will encourage and elevate this population, familiarity with social media content for posting engaging content on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
Skill set development: working in team environment, time management, strong communication skills, partnership outreach
Key metrics: prioritize viewer engagement, increase TTMES reach, consistency across messaging, increase viewership/following, influencer partnership/networking across a variety of platforms to push mission forward
