Throughout the spring and fall the City of Aurora hosts a variety of group volunteer projects in our parks and open space.
Potential projects could be park beautification, open space trail maintenance, weed management, etc. Project types are based on the needs identified by Parks and Open Space staff.
We are able to accommodate a variety of group sizes and schedules. We can also work with youth depending on the project as long as there is a group leader over the age of 18.
After signing up on VolunteerMatch, a staff member will reach out with our group project interest form and work with your group leader to set up a project.

Description
Whether it is cleaning up a park, teaching a class or helping at a special event, volunteers play a huge role in enhancing the quality of life in Aurora. The Parks, Recreation and Open Space (PROS) Department has volunteer opportunities throughout the city year-round and we are able to accommodate large groups and youth.
