Position description:

We're looking for a passionate, motivated volunteer who really wants to help the great work of the Tucson Chapter of S.Y.STEM Coalition! As Chapter President you get the opportunity to grow S.Y.STEM Coalition and expand our reach throughout the Southern Arizona community.

This position will include working closely with the local Tucson volunteers, as well as connect with the national organization, to ensure you have what you need to successfully execute key programs for the Tucson branch. This is a great way to give back to the community while growing and exercising skills in leadership and coordination!!

We are dedicated to finding the best fit for every volunteer by really getting to know you, your goals, what you want to get out of volunteering and pairing that with an open need that we have.

A little about S.Y.STEM Coalition:

We started six years ago in Tucson, AZ. six exceptionally talented and motivated people who wanted to give back to the community by helping K-12 students find a passion for STEM. We saw all of the poverty in our city and realized if just one of those kids from that community was able to get a great paying job in STEM, they could not only help themselves but also help their whole family break the cycle of poverty! Now the organization has over 50 volunteers, chapters in three different cities and growing! More than anything, being a part of this amazing organization has showed me that you really CAN change the world, one step at a time!
