Our community farm brings together a network of different groups and is centered around bringing awareness to environmental sustainability, cultural diversity, and healthy living and eating practices. As well as growing produce on our own we also partner with different groups to bring local fresh produce to the people of our community.

The Florence Fang Community Farm is one of SF's largest and most active urban farms. We have 40 to 50 gardeners. We are very diverse and work with all groups in the neighborhood. We also operate a food pantry every Saturday morning serving 150 local families. The garden is located at 1 Diana Street in SF's Bayview district. https://ffcommunityfarm.org/

This is a fun and exciting assignment with a lot of freedom and autonomy to make a huge difference. You can be part of a great community success story for San Francisco!

Mission Statement

The AsianWeek Foundation works to develop the voices of Asian America. The U.S. Census Bureau continues to tell us that Asian Americans have proven ourselves in education, earning power, and other traditional benchmarks of success. However, the ability of Asian American voices to be heard is not commensurate with this success. The Foundation accomplishes its mission through programs such as the AsianWeek Newspaper Workshop and through affiliation with projects that promote diversity and cross-cultural understanding. Description

The Asian Heritage Street Celebration is organized by the AsianWeek Foundation in cooperation with over 51 organizations in the Asian American community. The AsianWeek Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 committed to developing the Voices of Asian America. All proceeds from the Celebration will be donated to local and national charities.
