To communicate with our supporters, we need to produce a quality monthly newsletter and share important information. The newsletter is produced through Constant Contacts. Many of the stories that should be included in the newsletter are already posted on our Facebook page. Others must be written by this volunteer. We also need to include important information about tutor trainings, workshops, and fundraising events.
This person should have good computer skills, ability to learn the Constant Contacts system, ability to collaborate with FLC staff and volunteers to gather newsletter information, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to meet timelines.
The newsletter is to be produced and distributed monthly.
You may be able to complete this job working remotely. Support and training will be provided.

We are a private, not for pofit agency serving the Lapeer County area since 1980 and help families reach important literacy goals. We offer skill-building workshops for parents, one-on-one tutoring for adults and a broad range of family literacy programs and activities.
