ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

Join a team of dedicated rangers working to help visitors appreciate, understand, and safely enjoy the stunning red rock desert of The Needles district of Canyonlands National Park. We are looking for couples or individuals with an RV to serve as volunteer campground hosts during these time slots:

  • May 1 to May 30
  • August 15 to September 30

The Needles is a very rural location with no cellular service.  This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to meet people of all ages and backgrounds, enjoys variety in their days, and will relish the peace and quiet of this off-the-grid setting.


Benefits include:

  • Training opportunities with skilled NPS staff.
  • The opportunity to live and work in Canyonlands.
  • Reimbursement for propane used while camping may be available. (Daily stipend or meal reimbursement will not be available.)

End Date - 2022-09-30
