We need volunteers RAIN or SHINE to make our event a success!
We will have 2 shifts so, contact me for sign-up genius.
Example of work-
Volunteers should arrive (parking in Gracelife Church overflow lot and walk in) at 6:45am, to get t-shirts and instructions.
Vendors start arriving at 7am and we all need to be in our places and ready to work.
Some volunteers will assist in parking lots/checking in vendors, man the Charlotte Black Dog Tent or help vendors take their items to their assigned spots.
After 10am, volunteers will pick assignments for the day (will work in shifts)
when not doing assignments, volunteers will have a chance to walk around and enjoy the event.
We will need volunteers to assist Blessing of the Animals at 11:30am and Dog Contests at noon.
EVERYONE helps break down vendors and pick up park when event ends at 3pm.
IT is a long day, but it is a FUN & EASY way to help the community!

About Charlotte Black Dogs
Location:
5120 Rea Road, Charlotte, NC 28226, US
Mission Statement
We advocate for ALL homeless dogs and we put emphasis on Black Dogs. Homeless black dogs get overlooked every day. They are the last to find homes and the first to be euthanized. By holding a yearly event and walking dogs together, we are promoting black dogs in need of forever homes. We spread awareness about Black Dog Syndrome, and begin to change the odds for homeless black dogs.
Description
Through our yearly event "Paws in the Park", we hope to find homes for hundreds of local homeless dogs.
