We need volunteers RAIN or SHINE to make our event a success!
We would like volunteers to sign up for the WHOLE day with several breaks during the day, when not working.
Please contact me for sign-up genius.
Examples of work-
7am-9am: Everyone will assist with either parking lots, Charlotte Black Dogs Tent or other.
AT 9am when all the vendors have arrived, we will gather back at Charlotte Black Dogs Tent for shift sign-ups.
When not working, you do need to stay in the Park in case we need help, but you will have free time.
7am- 3pm: 2 people work the Charlotte Black Dog Tent at all times. (selling items, answering questions)
10am- 3pm: 2 people working at the McGrady Tent
10am-3pm: 2 people general park helpers
3-3:30pm: 2 strong people to help Circus Stella pack up equipment
3-3:30pm: Everyone helps pick up banners, garbage cans/garbage, assist vendors in leaving.
Volunteers should arrive (parking in Gracelife Church overflow lot and walk in) at 6:45am, to get t-shirts and instructions.
Vendors start arriving at 7am and we all need to be in our places and ready to work.
EVERYONE helps break down vendors and pick up park when event ends at 3pm.
IT is a long day, but it is a FUN & EASY way to help the community!

About Charlotte Black Dogs
Location:
5120 Rea Road, Charlotte, NC 28226, US
Mission Statement
We advocate for ALL homeless dogs and we put emphasis on Black Dogs. Homeless black dogs get overlooked every day. They are the last to find homes and the first to be euthanized. By holding a yearly event and walking dogs together, we are promoting black dogs in need of forever homes. We spread awareness about Black Dog Syndrome, and begin to change the odds for homeless black dogs.
Description
Through our yearly event "Paws in the Park", we hope to find homes for hundreds of local homeless dogs.
