Fort Wayne is lucky to have three rivers flowing throughout the city. Roll up your sleeves and dive into the fun of keeping the rivers beautiful! Volunteers will help remove invasive plant species and pick up litter along the riverbank. Tools and gloves will be provided.

Description

Riparian Department
Working both on land and on water, we remove invasive plant species from the riverbanks in the downtown area to better restore the riparian zone. We also remove any log jams or hazards to better provide a safe recreational area for our river users.

  • Available year-round with flexible times and dates
  • Please print and sign waiver before attending the clean-up. Also, please wear pants, closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing for the current weather. We will provide tools and safety gear!
