If you have business experience and enjoy helping people learn through coaching, tutoring or leadership you can become a Workshop Facilitator for the Small Business Administration’s highly respected volunteer organization Grand Strand SCORE. Since 2020 our Chapter provides these services in a hybrid mode: in-person and virtually via zoom. You will introduce the Workshop Presenter, oversee logistics and facilitate questions from the audience. Familiarity with Zoom Videoconferencing is desired. Training and other support will be provided. Description
SCORE, the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors, is dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals. Since 1964, it provides education and mentorship to more than 11 million entrepreneurs. SCORE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Thanks to this generous support from the SBA and because of the selfless contributions of more than 10,000 dedicated volunteers, SCORE can deliver most of the offerings at no cost to its clients - small business owners. It is important to note here that Small Business is defined by SBA as an establishment with up to 500 employees.
