Looking for a way to help recruit local, talented, diverse volunteers into one of the nation's largest non-profits?

The Southwestern Oregon Chapter of the American Red Cross is looking for a volunteer passionate about our mission, Alleviating Human Suffering, by mobilizing the power of our volunteers and donors. The Volunteer Recruitment Partner is a position for someone who wants to serve their community, leverage their background and knowledge, to share our mission. The Volunteer Recruitment Partner works closely with the chapter's Volunteer Recruitment Representative in filling mission-critical positions.

There will be plenty of opportunities to focus on professional development skills, as well as training to make sure you have all of the tools to be successful.

Here are some of the responsibilities of the position

  • Work in tandem with the Volunteer Recruitment Representative on high-priority items.
  • Go to volunteer meetings to share current position openings, and learn to recruit internally.
  • Manage online postings and track potential candidates as they are applying.
  • Be a source for other volunteers in the community.
  • Help grow community partnerships in your area.
